Biography

Bridget is the cousin of Nexus, living with her in San Francisco. Her parents discovered Bridget’s adventurous side when she was barely past being a toddler. She would climb on the tops of furniture and other things, propting her father to nickname her “Bricky” from the old British term meaning brave or fearless.

Personality

Bridget is the epitome of spunkiness. She’s a smartass with a heart of gold.

I knew that Bricky’s strength was present whether or not she was in her brick-like form. But she was so tiny! How was it possible? “Much of it comes from her meta mutation,” Bloodmoon explained, “but also it’s because she’s built like a chimpanzee.” I looked at her stupidly until she elaborated. “As Dyna explained it to me, chimps have specialized muscles. They have more of what are known as ‘fast-twitch’ muscles for power than humans do. And these muscle fibers are much denser and longer than in humans. So a chimp is much more powerful than a human, despite being smaller. Bricky’s musculature is built kind of like that, except to an extreme far beyond chimps. She’s little, but she’s got a lot more mass than you might think, due to the density of her muscles.” Bloodmoon paused, with an amused smile on her face. “As to why her skin becomes like brick… we assume that’s just a subconscious trick her brain is playing.”
