I am, I admit, a horrible procrastinator when it comes to things I don’t regard as urgent. Case in point, my last blog entry was three and a half months ago. Obviously, I never meant to let it go that long. But every time I’d have reason to see my website (which isn’t as often as you might think), I’d see that old blog that kept getting older and older. And with that, the guilt grew and grew. Which made me avoid the website. Which made the blog get older.
You get the point. Eventually, procrastination becomes avoidance. And the guilt grows. And I desperately try to think of something to blog about, without luck. And the guilt becomes anxiety. Which reinforces avoidance, etc. It’s a pretty ugly cycle.
So here I am, three and a half months later, blogging about not blogging.
